I am sure you have found yourself looking up to the stars, drawn to the importance of this muscle. It seems it has come from outer space and that its power is only exceeded by its mysteriousness.

But what happened? Where is the biceps nowadays? Why are we not using this all-mighty weapon anymore? Read more…

Regular and Race Training

Wednesday – 6.30 a.m.

Saturday – 2.45 p.m.

Sunday – 9 a.m.

We only have 1 weekend left before the last Singapore race of the season. Please make time to attend all the remaining trainings, including the last extra session.

Note: NO SATURDAY LAND TRAINING this weekend.

Please visit this Google sheet link to sign up for the last extra training session.

Everyone, please do take note of the following training procedure to be followed when you arrive at the cage:

1. Register for attendance and pay for training

2. Take a paddle, PFD(life vest), and bum pad.

3. If you don’t have your own water, please take 2-3 bottles of water that the team is providing.

4. Help prepare the boats for training. If you need guidance on where to go or what to do, please ask any of the regular members or your captains.

Note: We are trying to lessen the use of plastic bottles for training, please help us do this by bringing your own water and reusable containers. And please, do not leave food in the cage. Even if you have it inside your bag, which you think the scavengers will not find.

David Beattie Memorial Newbie Day

11 November

We are excited to announce that starting this year, we will have the David Beattie Memorial Day!

David M. Beattie is the founding father of the Gaelic Dragons and has been an inspiration to many. We are inviting all the Gaelic Dragons to join us on this day to commemorate what our founding father has built. This will be a day of races and games, with a mix of a reunion for the ‘ol Gaelic members, and a newbie day that will be held at Kallang beach. On the day, there will be special readings to be done and a ceremony.

Apart from this, we would need volunteers to sign up as a sub-committee for this event. The sub-committee will be in-charge of the fun races and games, and assist Mandy Irvine for the Newbie Day. Please fill this Google form out to sign up.
