Boot Camp

What is Boot Camp?

Boot Camp by the Bay is an outdoor fitness programme that caters for all levels
of fitness. The programme incorporates aspects of sports conditioning, speed,
agility and strength while balanced with a fair amount of fun, dirt and friendship!

Sessions are intense, challenging and are constantly changing;
boredom is just not an issue. We workout as friends and as a team.

Trainer

We are very lucky to have Shawn as our trainer. For members who are not
familiar with Shawn, he is not only a dragonboat veteran with 16 years of
experience but also a certified personal instructor (certificate in Personal Training
by the United States Sports Academy, America Sports University).

Shawn has designed the programme to target specific muscles that we activate when paddling.

Contact/Cost

Boot Camp by the Bay is a Gaelic Dragons affiliated training programme. The cost per session is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Please text either Kerstin (hp: 8666 5020) or Donovan (hp: 8699 8055) by 3pm Tuesday if you would like to attend the session.

Time/Location

Every Tuesday from 7.30 – 8.30pm

We meet at the Promontory@Marina Bay (outside Marina Bay Financial Centre), underneath the large, blue umbrellas. The closest MRTs are Raffles Place and Marina Bay.

Other information

Please be in your sports attire (Gaelics jersey of course!) and running shoes. Nearest changing facilities are at MBS. You’ll need to bring your own water.
